Since 1974, Charlemagne Chocolatiers has been making fine chocolates known for their squares with varied tastes.  Under the impetus of the Lodewyk family, the Belgian brand embarked on a 'bean to bar' adventure in search of gourmet excellence.

The adventure that leads from the bean to the square of chocolate (bean to bar) begins with a meeting with the cocoa farmers in order to unearth the beans whose scent and unique flavor are the source of our gourmet inspiration.

THE SECRET OF 
EXCEPTIONAL CHOCOLATES

The precious beans are then roasted at low temperature to enhance their natural temperament.

Each temperature reveals different aromas - the taste palette is endless. 

A PASSION FOR GOURMET PLEASURE

It took us 14 months to develop the bean to bar recipes. 

 

It is in the mill and the conch that the cocoa is mixed with the other ingredients... but that is Charlemagne's secret.
